An established outpatient medical practice is seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive adult primary & specialty care across multiple Long Island locations.
This opportunity is ideal for a physician seeking clinical excellence, lifestyle balance & long term financial growth in a strictly outpatient environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose & manage chronic conditions including cardiovascular, endocrine, respiratory & metabolic disorders
• Manage conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disorders & infectious diseases
• Provide preventive care, health screenings & wellness counseling
• Develop individualized treatment plans & monitor patient progress
• Provide ongoing follow up & chronic disease management
• Coordinate care with subspecialists & primary care teams
• Maintain continuity of care through effective communication & collaboration
• Deliver patient centered care in an outpatient setting
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience required
• Active New York medical license or eligibility to obtain
• Strong diagnostic & clinical skills in adult medicine
• Experience managing a broad range of adult medical conditions
• Commitment to patient centered care
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Working Hours
• 40 hours per week
• 8 hour shifts
• In person
• Outpatient only
• No inpatient responsibilities
