Location: Statesville, North Carolina
Schedule: Full-Time | 7 On / 7 Off | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Join a Collaborative Hospitalist Team
We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join a growing hospitalist program as a Nocturnist in Statesville, North Carolina.
This is an excellent opportunity for physicians who enjoy practicing inpatient medicine in a supportive, collaborative environment while maintaining an outstanding work-life balance with a predictable 7-on/7-off schedule.
Position Highlights
Full-time nocturnist schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Consistent 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support from 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM
Average of 8 admissions per shift
Cross-cover responsibilities for hospitalized patients
Manage rapid response events and code situations
No procedures required
Open ICU model
Hospital average daily census of approximately 120 patients
Collaborative multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality patient care
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted North Carolina medical license
Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced inpatient setting
