• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to patients of all ages.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Promote preventive care, wellness, and improved healthcare access in a rural community.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.

Job Responsibilities
• Prescribe medications and provide appropriate medical treatment.
• Order and review laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic tests.
• Refer patients to specialists and ancillary services when needed.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and preventive healthcare.
• Maintain accurate and timely EHR documentation.
• Provide continuity of care for assigned patients.
• Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health providers, and other staff.
• Participate in quality improvement, compliance, and risk management initiatives.
• Mentor and support clinical staff and students.
• Participate in community health, wellness, and educational programs.
• Support Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and evidence-based care practices.
Qualifications
• Current, unrestricted Texas Physician License.
• Current DEA and DPS registrations required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification required.
• Hospital privileges when required by specialty or location.
• Compliance with applicable CME requirements.
• One or more years of direct patient care experience preferred.
Working Hours
• Scheduled clinic sessions with occasional extended hours.
• Schedule based on clinic and patient care needs.
Skills
• Knowledge of health promotion and disease prevention.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical documentation and EHR skills.
• Effective organization and time management.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
