Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including acute and chronic disease management.
• Diagnose conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and coordinate specialty referrals.
• Review laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic results and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health providers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Support PCMH standards, quality improvement, clinical policy development, community outreach, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current, unrestricted Texas physician license.
• Current DEA and DPS registrations required for practice in Texas.
• Current BLS or CPR certification for healthcare professionals.
• Compliance with applicable CME requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges when required.
• 1+ year of direct clinical practice experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of patient-centered care, health promotion, disease prevention, and Texas medical regulations.
• Excellent communication, documentation, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and standard office technology.
