Position Overview:
- IM Outpatient Clinic
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license from any state
- Pay: $170 Per Hour
- Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No nights, weekends, or call)
- Start Date: October 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
- Assignment Length: 3-month initial commitment (extensions available if you like it)
- Contract Type: Locum Tenens
Practice Overview:
- Daily Volume: 12–16 adult patients per day (18+)
- Appointment Slots: 30–40 minutes for new patients | 20 minutes for follow-up visits
- Practice Setting: Pure outpatient clinic; supported by dedicated RNs, MAs, case management, and 5–7 daily peer providers
Clinical Scope:
- Patient Population: Medically complex adult care.
- Focus Areas: High prevalence of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, substance use disorders, and rheumatologic conditions
- Procedures: Basic ambulatory procedures preferred, but not required
Candidate Qualifications:
- Board Certification: BC in Internal Medicine required
- Experience Requirements: Minimum 36 months of physician practice (including 12+ months in Internal Medicine)
- Certifications: Active DEA and current BLS
- Credentialing Requirements: Clean NPDB report and completion of Level I & II federal background checks
- Required Immunizations: MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap (within 5 years), and TB test (within 12 months)
