Internal Medicine Physician | Locum Tenens
Join a mission-driven healthcare team serving an underserved patient population in a rewarding outpatient practice setting.
Position Highlights
- Outpatient-only Internal Medicine practice with no inpatient responsibilities.
- Manage a diverse patient population with a focus on chronic disease management and preventive care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team dedicated to improving community health outcomes.
- Evaluate and treat new and established patients in a well-supported clinical environment.
- Opportunity to perform basic ambulatory procedures (preferred but not required).
- Work with medically complex patients, including patients with diabetes, cardiac conditions, substance use disorders, and rheumatologic conditions.
- Any active U.S. state medical license accepted.
- Minimum 3-month assignment with extension opportunities available.
- Dedicated credentialing, logistics, and provider support provided throughout the assignment.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license and DEA registration.
- Minimum 36 months of physician experience, including at least 12 months practicing Internal Medicine.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to obtain federal credentialing and complete background check requirements.
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM | No Call | No Weekends | No Holidays
Location: Shiprock, New Mexico
Pay: Competitive Locum Tenens Compensation $245 Per hour
