Job description
We are seeking a Physician for a fully remote telehealth locum tenens position serving patients nationwide. This is an outpatient hormone therapy telehealth practice caring for adult patients across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Please see below for more information.
- Fully remote, outpatient telehealth practice
- Patient population drawn from all 50 states and the District of Columbia
- Proprietary EMR with integrated electronic prescribing platform
Job Responsibilities
Conduct synchronous live telehealth consultations and asynchronous e-visit assessments
Review and interpret an extensive laboratory panel for each patient prior to consultation
Initiate, titrate, and monitor hormone therapy regimens, including ongoing and repeat laboratory monitoring
Prescribe and manage controlled substances via electronic prescribing platform across multiple states of licensure
Perform annual reset synchronous visits for established TRT and HRT patients at the beginning of each calendar year
Practice independently within a fully virtual care model with no in-person patient contact
Adult and geriatric patients only; no pediatric care. Patients are typically 35 to 65 years of age
Document all encounters in a proprietary, AI-enabled EMR and documentation system
Qualifications
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Endocrinology
Active DEA registration (minimum of one)
State controlled substance registration in each state of licensure that requires one, including but not limited to Missouri BNDD, Massachusetts MCSR, Rhode Island CSR, and District of Columbia CSR
Working Hours
Day, swing, night, and weekend shift availability
Four-hour shift blocks within a flexible 7:00 a.m. to 8:40 p.m. window
Weekday availability between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST during the initial onboarding period; availability may be expanded outside that window and to weekends thereafter
