• Seeking an experienced physician leader to serve as Chief Medical Officer
• Opportunity to combine direct patient care with executive medical leadership
• Role is structured as approximately 60% clinical and 40% administrative
• Provide direct primary care approximately 3 days per week
• Spend approximately 2 days per week on administrative and leadership responsibilities
• Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer
• Collaborate with executive leadership to improve clinical quality, access, staffing, and operations
• Support healthcare delivery across multiple service sites

Job Responsibilities
• Oversee and supervise MDs, DOs, NPs, and PAs
• Lead monthly provider meetings and performance reviews
• Coach providers on productivity and clinical performance
• Develop and monitor Quality Improvement initiatives
• Monitor HEDIS metrics and clinical quality outcomes
• Promote accurate documentation, coding, and timely note closure
• Ensure compliance with HRSA, TJC, PCMH, and other regulatory requirements
• Participate in executive leadership strategy, staffing, and operational planning
• Represent the organization at Board meetings and with community partners as appropriate
Qualifications
• Board Certified in a primary care specialty such as Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics
• Active California medical license or eligibility for immediate licensure
• Minimum 5 years of clinical practice experience
• Minimum 3 years of medical leadership experience
• Prior FQHC or community health experience preferred
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to health equity and serving underserved communities
Working Hours
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Approximately 3 days per week clinical
• Approximately 2 days per week administrative
• Combination of direct patient care and executive leadership responsibilities
