Job Title :- Physician Administrator 3 - Region 5 (Part time)
Location :- Gallipolis, OH 45631
Contract :- 3+ Months with possible extension
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical oversight by planning, coordinating, and directing the delivery of healthcare services.
- Develop and maintain medical policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Serve as the primary care physician by conducting physical examinations, evaluating and treating medical conditions, ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and completing medical documentation.
- Collaborate with Certified Nurse Practitioners, nursing staff, interdisciplinary team members, families, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and provide medical consultation regarding resident health, treatment plans, and referrals.
- Serve on committees related to admissions, infection control, medication review, emergency preparedness, incident review, and quality improvement.
- Support compliance with applicable regulatory standards and assist with surveys and audits as needed.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current, unrestricted Ohio medical license.
- DEA registration.
