WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated and skilled physician to provide high-quality, comprehensive outpatient medical care in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional patient care and will have the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of medical practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, comprehensive outpatient medical care primarily to adult patients.
- Manage a daily schedule of approximately 18–20 patients, utilizing an overbook system to account for no-shows.
- Conduct 30-minute appointments for full/new patient visits and 15-minute appointments for routine follow-ups.
- Work a standard 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, including a 1-hour lunch break.
- Commit to one late-night shift per week (until approximately 7:30 PM), with a shifted, later start time for that day.
- Engage in general adult medicine with opportunities to incorporate women’s health, HIV care, or addiction medicine based on provider interest.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted Connecticut (CT) medical license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively connect with a diverse patient base.
