- Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday; hospital rotations every 5–6 weeks

- License/Certs: Active Supervising License, Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiology
- Experience: Preferred minimum 2 years clinical cardiology experience
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (monthly hours approximately 160)

What You’ll Do
- Provide inpatient care, including rounding and consultations
- Coordinate multidisciplinary rounds and communication with referring providers
- Review hospital diagnostic studies during service weeks
- Conduct outpatient clinics Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Assess and manage patient follow-ups and care coordination
- Participate in hospital and outpatient care, ensuring seamless patient management
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters
- Support long-term patient follow-up with a dedicated panel of cardiology patients
What You Need
- Valid active supervising license in Louisiana
- Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine - Cardiology
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
About the Assignment
This position involves providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology services at a reputable facility in Baton Rouge. The provider will have a scheduled hospital rotation every 5–6 weeks, with the primary focus on patient follow-up, diagnostics, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
