This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who wants to spend more time with patients, work within a highly supported clinical model, and focus on improving long-term health outcomes rather than managing a high-volume schedule.

The practice specializes in providing comprehensive, relationship-based primary care to older adults. Physicians are supported by an integrated care team that helps coordinate treatment, manage chronic conditions, and address the medical and social factors affecting each patient’s health.

Position Highlights

  • Outpatient Internal Medicine
  • Monday–Friday schedule

  • Manageable daily patient volume
  • Approximately 10–14 patients per day
  • Longer appointment times
  • Dedicated medical assistant support
  • Documentation and scribe support
  • Integrated behavioral health and care-management resources
  • Centralized administrative and clinical support
  • Focus on preventive care and chronic disease management

  • Performance-based incentive opportunity
  • Comprehensive health and retirement benefits

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to an older-adult patient population
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment and preventive-care plans
  • Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and community resources
  • Review laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic results
  • Prescribe and manage medications
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care-team meetings
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Support quality, population-health, and patient-outcome initiatives

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine required
  • Active or eligible Arkansas medical license
  • Unrestricted DEA registration
  • Experience in outpatient primary care, geriatrics, or value-based care preferred
