Job description
We are seeking an outpatient Internal Medicine (or Family Medicine/Geriatric) Physician for a permanent position with an independent private practice group in Aurora, Colorado, one of 12 clinics in the Aurora area. The group is a member of the largest independent practice association (IPA) in Colorado, and physicians hold clinical faculty appointments with the University of Colorado. Please see below for more information.
- Independent, outpatient private practice within the Denver area
- Approximately 20 patients per day; adult and geriatric population
- Care team includes providers, support staff, a social worker, and an RN/patient educator care coordinator; most practices also have mental health support
- Wrap-around IPA services including care coordination, population health, data and analytics, and specialist network management
- Teaching opportunities with CU medical students and APP students
- Production, value-based care, AWV, start, and retention bonuses available
Job Responsibilities
- See approximately 20 patients per day (adults and geriatrics)
- Work collaboratively with advanced practice providers and care coordinators
- Participate in value-based care and quality initiatives
- Optional teaching of medical and APP students
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Active Colorado state license or IMLC
- Supervisory skills and interest in working with advanced practice providers
- Geriatric fellowship training or medicine subspecialty interests welcome
