Job description
Outpatient Internal Medicine locums in Illinois with no call and a predictable weekday schedule, seeing a Medicare-heavy primary care panel. Fast credentialing is available, with a minimum 3 month commitment.
Highlights
- No call required.
- Fast credentialing, target timeframe is about 30 days.
- Monday through Friday clinic schedule, no weekends listed.
- Manageable clinic volume, 16 to 18 patients per day.
Practice Setting
- Outpatient clinic setting.
- Patient population is primarily Medicare, majority age 65 and older.
- Support includes nurse practitioners, MA and scribe support, plus RNs supporting the clinic overall.
- Traditional internal medicine primary care scope.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM.
- ASAP coverage need, estimated start date is 2026-11-23.
- Minimum commitment is 3 months.
- No call.
Cases and Procedures
- Primary care management in an older population, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia.
- Mild cognitive impairment.
- CHF and history of coronary artery disease.
- No procedures.
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Active Illinois license required, facility will not wait for licensure.
- DEA required.
