- Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine services to adult patients (18+), including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of acute and chronic conditions
- Conduct routine physical exams, health assessments, and health education counseling
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging
- Prescribe medications and manage medication plans
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers for complex cases
- Supervise and mentor medical students, interns, and residents
- Document patient interactions accurately in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education
- Act as a primary care provider, managing preventive care, wellness, and chronic disease management
Required:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school
- Board certification recognized by ABMS or AOA
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted California medical license
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
Preferred:
- Outpatient primary care experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and patient management skills
