We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens Home Health position in Portland, ME. This opportunity involves conducting pre-scheduled in-home health evaluations for Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and commercial plan members throughout Maine. Please see below for more information.

Job Responsibilities
• Review medication and medical history during each visit
• Perform physical evaluations in the member's home
• Complete a pre-populated, patient-specific form for each evaluation
• See approximately 6-9 patients per day
• No prescribing of medications, ordering of lab tests, or altering of treatment regimens
• Document evaluations in mySignify EMR
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Primary Care or Internal Medicine
• Active Maine medical license
• BLS certification
Working Hours
7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
No nights or weekends required
6-9 visits per day
13-week contract (short- or long-term assignments available)
Travel: airfare, hotel, and rental car provided (eligibility based)
