Internal Medicine Physician (Outpatient) | Northern Arizona | High-Impact Community Care

Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive outpatient care in a clinic setting in Northern Arizona. This position focuses on delivering high-quality primary care services, including prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions in an adult patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient clinic setting, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
• Manage both acute and chronic medical conditions with an emphasis on continuity of care
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, review medical histories, and order/interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in accordance with established standards of care
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education on disease prevention and health maintenance
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Coordinate care with specialists and facilitate referrals as needed
• Provide telehealth services for appropriate patient populations when applicable
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support comprehensive patient care

Schedule & Productivity

• Full-time outpatient schedule, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Expected patient volume of approximately 16–20 patients per day
• Potential for limited call or extended hours based on patient care needs

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• Completion of an accredited U.S. residency program
• Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
• Valid DEA registration (Schedules II–V)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• No history of license suspension or significant lapse in clinical practice
