Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology Physician in Richlands, VA

- End Date/Duration: Ongoing coverage as needed
- Shift: Mix of Endoscopy suite procedures, outpatient clinic, night call
- Hours/Week: Varies, based on scheduled procedures and in-office hours
- Employment Type: Contract
- Licensure/Certs: Medical license required
- Experience: Prior gastroenterology or internal medicine experience preferred
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour

- Perform procedures in the Endoscopy Suite on scheduled days
- Provide outpatient consultation and follow-up care
- Round on hospital patients and manage inpatient consults
- Take night call on a scheduled basis
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
- Document all procedures and patient interactions thoroughly
- Support hospital protocols, safety standards, and best practices
Required:
- Valid medical licensure in Virginia
- Experience in internal medicine and/or gastroenterology procedures
- Ability to perform endoscopic procedures and hospital rounds
Preferred:
- Prior experience with inpatient and outpatient care
- Flexibility regarding schedule and call duties
