Salary Range: $330,000 to $350,000 annually + up to $30K Sign-On

Requirements to Apply

Job Overview

A mission-driven community health organization in Brawley, California is seeking a Staff Physician to deliver high-quality outpatient medical care in a collaborative, team-based environment. This role focuses on comprehensive primary care services for a diverse patient population, emphasizing continuity of care, chronic disease management, and preventive medicine.

Working closely with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and interdisciplinary care teams, the Staff Physician plays a vital role in supporting patient-centered medical home (PCMH) principles, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance efforts.

Schedule & Setting

  • Full-time, exempt position
  • Outpatient clinic setting
  • Monday–Friday schedule (with flexibility as needed)
  • Rotates between clinic locations as required
  • Community-based, patient-centered medical home model

What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care including examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions with a focus on long-term health outcomes
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation
  • Coordinate care with specialists and arrange referrals as needed
  • Participate in daily team huddles and interdisciplinary meetings
  • Support audits and compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Serve as a preceptor for medical students and NP/PA students when requested
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership to implement clinical policies and PCMH workflows
  • Supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants as assigned
