Position Highlights
• 100% Outpatient Internal Medicine practice
• Monday – Friday clinic schedule
• Option for four-day work week
• Hospitalist team manages all inpatient responsibilities
• Well-established practice supported by three physicians and six Advanced Practice Providers
• Collaborative team environment with strong specialty access
• Focus on delivering comprehensive, high-quality primary care
Clinical Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients
• Conduct patient assessments, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions including:
• Hypertension
• Diabetes
• Cardiovascular disease
• Respiratory illnesses
• Preventive care and wellness management
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and implement evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide preventive care counseling and patient education
• Coordinate care with specialists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
Schedule
• Monday – Friday outpatient clinic
• Option for four-day work week
• 1:10 evening call rotation
• Hospitalist team manages inpatient care
• Emergency Department coverage handled by EM physicians
Practice Environment
The Great Falls Clinic operates a modern acute care hospital with a full range of specialty services, including:
• 36 inpatient beds
• 10-bed Open ICU
• 2 cardiac catheterization labs
• 8-bed pre/post procedure unit
• 5 operating rooms + 4 OR surgery center
• Dedicated 5 observation beds
• Busy 8-bed Emergency Department with experienced staff
• Extensive specialty referral network available in-house

Qualifications
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Eligible for Montana medical licensure

• Experience managing common internal medicine conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, respiratory illness, and cardiovascular disease
• Strong patient communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team-based care model alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and specialists
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and clinical documentation
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and quality improvement initiatives
Preferred Skills
• Experience in outpatient internal medicine or primary care practice
