Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients in an outpatient primary care setting
• Develop and implement individualized patient care and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and healthcare staff in a team-based care model
• Participate in regional phone-only call coverage with colleagues
• Support quality improvement initiatives and patient care strategies
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (must complete residency)
• Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain
• DEA registration required prior to start
• Clean malpractice history preferred
• NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days) required at time of submission
Working Hours
• Approximately 36 patient-facing hours per week
• Standard weekday schedule (typically Monday – Friday)
• Phone-only regional call rotation with minimal weekend coverage
Skills
• Preventive care and chronic disease management
• Patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• EMR documentation and clinical workflow management
• Effective communication and patient relationship skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based healthcare environment
