Position Summary

The facility is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join its growing primary care team in Bronx, New York. This is a full-time opportunity .The role is primarily outpatient, offering a consistent schedule designed to promote efficiency and work-life balance.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine services to adult and geriatric patients.

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and annual wellness visits.

  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, COPD, heart disease, hyperlipidemia, and other complex medical issues.

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory studies, and imaging.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines.

  • Coordinate care with specialists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.

  • Provide patient education on disease prevention, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings.

Qualifications

Education:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Board Certification:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.

Licensure:

  • Active or eligible medical license in New York.

  • DEA registration (or eligibility).

Experience:

  • Prior outpatient internal medicine experience preferred.

  • Residents completing training are encouraged to apply.
