Job Title :- Physician Administrator PRN
Location :- Columbus, OH 43215
Contract :- 6+ Months with possible extension
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Job Description :
• Direct and oversee delivery of medical services in residential developmental settings.
• Establish and implement medical policies and procedures in accordance with ICF/IID and regulatory standards.
• Serve as primary care physician for assigned individuals (physicals, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, medical orders, documentation).
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, treatments, and specialty referrals.
• Monitor treatment plans and medication effectiveness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including nursing, psychology, psychiatry, case management, direct care staff, and family/guardians.
• Provide medical consultation and recommendations to ensure health and safety of individuals served.
• Collaborate with Certified Nurse Practitioners and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in and provide oversight to committees (e.g., infection control, medication review, emergency preparedness, admissions/discharge, incident review, human rights).
• Supervise medical and/or support staff as assigned.
• Develop and implement medical policy on behalf of leadership.
Requirement
• MD or DO degree.
• Current, unrestricted medical license.
