Position Summary

The Internal Medicine Physician will serve as a core clinical provider delivering comprehensive, high-quality primary care to an adult patient population. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care to adult patients

• Conduct detailed patient histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments

• Order, review, and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic testing

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and care plans

• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the EMR system

• Collaborate with specialists, referring providers, and interdisciplinary care teams

• Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing and clinical support staff

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, NYS Department of Health, CMS, and payer guidelines

• Participate in population health initiatives and quality improvement efforts

• Build and manage a patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine

• Active New York State medical license or eligibility for licensure

• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Patient-centered, team-oriented approach to care

• Comfort with EMR systems and value-based care models preferred

• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in growing and managing a patient panel
