Overview:
Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
Position: Internal Medicine Physician (MD or DO)
Full-time position
Average patient volume: 15–20 patients per day
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation model: Fee-for-Service (FFS)
Estimated annual compensation range: $252,000 – $302,000
No cap on productivity income potential
Full-time, benefit-eligible role
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care in post-acute care communities
Inpatient rounding in:
- Skilled nursing facilities
- Inpatient rehabilitation facilities
- Long-term care hospitals
Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams and adhere to CMS guidelines
Coordinate care transitions with hospice, palliative care, and home care agencies
Ensure timely and accurate documentation and billing using Gehrimed EMR in compliance with Medicare guidelines
Qualifications:
Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Licensed in the state of Massachusetts
Willing to train experienced candidates
