Nocturnist Hospitalist Opportunity – Eastern NC

I wanted to share an exciting opportunity for a BE/BC Internal Medicine or Med-Peds physician interested in a Nocturnist Hospitalist role in eastern North Carolina. This position offers a great mix of clinical autonomy, strong specialty support, and lifestyle balance. Please note: we are not currently accepting new graduates or visa candidates for this role.

Position Highlights:

• Employed hospitalist opportunity with a well-established program
• 81-bed community hospital setting
• Join a collegial team of physicians and an advanced practice provider
• Flexible schedule options:
  • (3) 14-hour shifts per week, or
  • (6) 14-hour shifts every other week
• Coverage includes a 9-bed open ICU with tele-intensivist support
• ICU procedures include vent management, lumbar punctures, and central lines
• Fully integrated EPIC EMR
• Strong specialty backup: General Surgery, Cardiology, ENT, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, GI, Nephrology, Ophthalmology, Sleep Medicine, Speech Therapy, and Physical Therapy
• Average nightly admissions: approximately 6 patients
