Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders.
- Provide ongoing management and monitoring of patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as needed.
- Prescribe and oversee chemotherapy, immunotherapy, transfusions, and supportive care measures.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and expected outcomes.
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
- Engage in clinical discussions, multidisciplinary team meetings, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in clinical research and academic activities as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology and Oncology.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Oregon.
- Proven experience in managing hematology and oncology patients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
