Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical skills, professionalism, and a passion for patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient Gastroenterology services, including diagnostic evaluation, management, and treatment of digestive system disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Perform consultations, follow-up care, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient encounters and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to institutional policies and protocols.
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with advancements in Gastroenterology.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency program.
- Fellowship training in Gastroenterology completed within one year of residency, or equivalent experience.
- Unrestricted medical license in California or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and adhere to clinical guidelines.
Additional Notes:
- Candidates can be unlicensed at the time of application but must have strong ties to Orange County or California; please highlight this in your submission.
- Candidates are eligible to start as soon as credentialed, with a tentative start date of July 1; earlier start possible upon quick placement.
