Job Title: Physician – Internal Medicine with Gastroenterology Specialty (Permanent Placement)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Internal Medicine Physician specializing in Gastroenterology for a permanent role. This opportunity offers the chance to join a reputable healthcare organization committed to providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will have completed fellowship training in Gastroenterology within one year of residency or possess comparable qualifications. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical skills, professionalism, and a passion for patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient Gastroenterology services, including diagnostic evaluation, management, and treatment of digestive system disorders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Perform consultations, follow-up care, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient encounters and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to institutional policies and protocols.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with advancements in Gastroenterology.

Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency program.
  • Fellowship training in Gastroenterology completed within one year of residency, or equivalent experience.
  • Unrestricted medical license in California or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and adhere to clinical guidelines.

Additional Notes:
  • Candidates can be unlicensed at the time of application but must have strong ties to Orange County or California; please highlight this in your submission.
  • Candidates are eligible to start as soon as credentialed, with a tentative start date of July 1; earlier start possible upon quick placement.
