A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of 5 physicians
- Work alongside a dedicated team that is actively involved in work groups such as practice guidelines, the code blue committee, and the ICU celebration of life committee
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine.
- Must be comfortable managing ICU patients and be open to performing arterial and central lines
- Authorized to work in the USA
Scheduling:
- Flexible scheduling with 10-hour night shifts M-F and 11.5 hour night shifts on Saturday and Sunday
Key Responsibilities:
- Nocturnist covers the ICU overnight and supervises the residents’ admissions to the floor. Intensivists are available telephonically overnight. Central line & airways skills are desired although back-up is available.
- Phenomenal team culture, manageable workload
- In-house Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programs
- EMR: Cerner with dragon for dictation
