Job Title: Primary care Physician
Location: Chillicothe, OH 45601
Duration: 6 months to long term
Shift hours: Standard 1st shift (40 hours)
• Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing
• Managing medication
• Completing reclassifications and other reviews as indicated
• Making referrals for specialized care or treatment
• Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards
• Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews
• Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed
• Caseload: Up to 2.5 patients/hour
• Active BLS/CPR

• Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system• Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing
• Managing medication
• Completing reclassifications and other reviews as indicated
• Making referrals for specialized care or treatment
• Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards
