Primary Care Physician – Outpatient (Family Practice)

$205K–$225K+ (depending on experience)
Full-Time | Monday–Friday, Day Shift
She Recruits has partnered with a well-established community-based healthcare organization in Nassau County to add a dedicated Primary Care Physician to their growing team. This is an outpatient-only role with time split between two locations — no nights, no weekends, no inpatient call.
What You’ll Do

Provide full-spectrum primary care across diverse patient populations, from school-age to adult.

Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging, then act on results.

Prescribe and manage medications, administer treatments, and deliver preventive care (including immunizations).

Educate patients and families on health maintenance, chronic condition management, and lifestyle changes.

Coordinate referrals and follow-up with specialists.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards and billing practices.

Contribute to clinical education, peer review, and quality improvement initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For
-
MD or DO from an accredited program
-
Licensed (or eligible) in New York State
-
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Comfortable caring for patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Able to travel between two outpatient sites

Medicaid enrollment (preferred)
