Job description A leading physician-governed multispecialty group in Eastern Washington is actively recruiting an Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician to join a well-established practice. This is a full-time position replacing a long-term physician nearing retirement. Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult patients
Manage chronic and acute conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease
Conduct detailed histories, physical exams, and develop individualized treatment plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs and imaging
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and refer to specialists as needed
Educate patients and families on preventive care, treatment plans, and lifestyle management
Utilize EPIC electronic health records system for documentation
Participate in after-hours nurse-triaged call rotation (1:6)

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
Active or eligible for Washington State medical license
Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to evidence-based care
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Compassionate and collaborative approach to patient care

Working Hours

Full-time schedule: Choose from a 4- or 5-day workweek
Clinic hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Outpatient only – no hospital responsibilities
Patient volume: 15–20 per day

Skills

Strong clinical acumen in managing adult outpatient populations
Experience with chronic disease management and preventive care
Ability to communicate complex information clearly and empathetically
Proficiency with EHR systems (EPIC preferred)
Team-oriented, with excellent time-management and decision-making skills
