A respected healthcare group in Wooster, OH is seeking a part-time Internal Medicine Physician to provide outpatient care for adult patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated clinician to enjoy a flexible weekday schedule while delivering high-quality, personalized care.
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage a variety of adult health conditions, including chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease
Create and adjust individualized treatment plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
Prescribe medications and therapies aligned with evidence-based guidelines
Deliver preventive care including immunizations, screenings, and counseling
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and healthy lifestyle strategies
Collaborate with specialists and healthcare team members to coordinate care
Stay up to date with current clinical practices and technologies
Document patient interactions accurately and promptly using EHR systems
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
Active and unrestricted Ohio medical license (or ability to obtain)
Experience treating adult patients in an outpatient setting
Proficient in current clinical guidelines and care protocols
Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative care team
Highly organized and reliable
Working Hours
No weekends, nights, or inpatient responsibilities
Outpatient-only practice setting
Skills
Strong diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making skills
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
Effective collaboration in multidisciplinary care environments
