Job description
A well-established medical group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Internal Medicine Physician for a full-time, outpatient-only role. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive clinical team providing personalized, evidence-based care to adult patients.
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of acute and chronic adult medical conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and pulmonary disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust as needed based on clinical outcomes
Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests including lab work and imaging
Prescribe appropriate medications and therapeutic interventions
Provide preventive care services, including health screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and wellness strategies
Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers when necessary
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
Stay up to date with current medical best practices and guidelines
Qualifications
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Active and unrestricted medical license in the State of Ohio (or ability to obtain)
Experience managing a variety of adult patient conditions
Knowledge of current clinical protocols and treatment guidelines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care
Working Hours
Outpatient only – no inpatient or hospital rounding
Skills
Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
Experience using electronic health records (EHR)
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based care model
Empathy, professionalism, and attention to patient needs
