Innovative healthcare group seeks additional primary care providers to transition to the concierge model of care. They are looking for Internists from well-established group practices with 10 years plus experience and an established patient base to transition to a concierge model of care. They are focused on providers who are local to the DMV area and looking to increase their revenue and have more autonomy in their practice. Providing superior patient care is paramount in their model, and they would like to have 2 or 3 providers in each office. These providers will provide adult and geriatric care as 90% of their patient base is over 18 years old, and 60% over 60 years old. Providers average 6-8 patients daily with 1 phlebotomist for every 2 providers and 1 MA per provider. Office hrs are traditionally 8 am-4 pm, with no scheduled patients before 9 am or after 3 pm. Their goal is to create an environment where physicians can practice the way they want to, which ultimately leads to better patient outcomes. They will set up providers in a practice in their community and with at least 1 other provider. They market physicians and have a team that handles all the staffing, payroll, and practice set-up. They have 2 established care centers in DC and are hoping to expand into Virginia and Maryland before growing nationally. This group is not an MSO or VC-run venture but is instead physician-led. Patients are vetted and will meet with the physician before being added to their panel. Because it is concierge, they have found the patient base is more discerning and therefore less demanding. They are provided with the physician’s cell but asked to use it only in an emergent situation, and they have found this works quite well. There is some call, but it’s not arduous. They also have an established referral network of specialists. They also have a robust They are in-network for most insurances and offer a competitive salary and benefits package with a robust productivity incentive model.
