University of Kentucky HealthCare is actively recruiting full-time Hospitalists to join our dynamic academic team. We are seeking Internal Medicine-trained physicians who are looking to build a long-term career in hospital medicine with opportunities for clinical

excellence, education, research, and leadership. Faculty positions are full-time (1.0 FTE), non-tenure track, with academic rank commensurate with experience.

Position Highlights:
  • 7-on/7-off schedule-Working 25 weeks of service per year

  • Average daily census of 14
  • Closed ICU

  • No call responsibilities except for 2 weeks per year under a “jeopardy system” (rare back-up coverage)

Qualifications

• Education: MD or equivalent degree
• Experience: Completion of residency in Internal Medicine
• Licensure/Certification: Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine. Eligible for Kentucky Medical licensure at time of employment
