Immediate Opening: Locum Physician in Internal Medicine
Location: Internal Medicine Clinic
Schedule:
- Hours: Weekdays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
- Frequency: Monday to Friday, full-time preferred but open to part-time applicants (no call requirements)
Start Date: As soon as credentialed Duration: 6 months to 1 year
Scope of Practice:
- Specialty Required: Internal Medicine; candidates with a strong Family Practice background may also be considered
- Patient Population: Average age of 70, with conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, and CHF
- Patients per Day: 12-18, depending on the complexity of cases
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff:
- Medical Assistants (MA's)
- Medical Office Representatives (MOR's)
- An Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in clinic
- An RN assigned to the clinic
Credentialing:
- Timeframe: 2-3 months
