A healthcare system in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Family and/or Internal Medicine Physician for a promising opportunity at one of their facilities in the Bronx.

Responsibilities:

The Family / Internal Medicine will be responsible for:

• Diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions and illnesses
• Emphasizing preventive medicine and working with patients to promote healthy lifestyles
• Monitoring patients' progress, adjusting medications, and providing education on self-management
• Treating acute illnesses and injuries, such as respiratory infections, minor injuries, and skin conditions
• Conducting routine health check-ups and wellness exams to monitor patients' overall health and identify any potential health issues before they become serious
• Performing minor surgical procedures in the office, such as suturing wounds, removing moles or skin lesions, and draining abscesses
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for their patients, including medical history, treatment plans, and test results

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
• Board Eligible / Certified in Family and/or Internal Medicine
• Basic Life Support certification
• Infection Control certification
• Experience and/or interest in a Community-based setting
• Comfortable with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
