Facility is looking for an IM to fill a permanent position in the Portland, Oregon area. You will treat and advise patients on physical and mental health.
Duties:
- Observes, assesses, and records symptoms, reactions, and progress by utilizing knowledge of modern methods and techniques of diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and injuries
- Provides accurate, timely, and complete documentation in patient records including providing appropriate code level and diagnosis of patient visits using coding standards
- Provides evening and weekend consultation on-call as needed
- Displays sensitivity to the populations served
Additional Info:
- Doctoral degree (MD/DO) or equivalent from an accredited school of medicine
-Completion of Internal Medicine Residency or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working with underserved populations in a community health center preferred
- Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Oregon and Board Certified
- Active DEA license
- Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred
