Internal Medicine opening – Conway, South Carolina 10 miles from Myrtle Beach ## Position Details * Full-time employed position * Outpatient-only practice * Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm * Friday 8am–12pm * 36 clinical hours + 4 administrative hours weekly * Shared call 1:7–1:8 * After-hours call triaged by nurse line * Dedicated nurse and full support team * EMR: Cerner with Dragon dictation and Ambient AI charting support * Average 20–25+ adult patients per day * Adult-only patient population (18+) * Clinical focus includes: * Preventive care and wellness * Complex chronic disease management (HTN, DM, COPD, CHF, CKD, etc.) * Acute adult visits * In-office procedures as desired (skin biopsies, joint injections, minor dermatology, women’s health, etc.) * Close collaboration with in-house specialists including cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, oncology, and more ## Required Qualifications & Experience * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine * Eligible for South Carolina medical licensure * Comfortable managing complex adult chronic disease * Team-oriented and patient-focused approach ## Benefits Details * $25,000+ sign-on bonus * Competitive base salary (MGMA median range) + WRVU incentives * Full benefits package including health, dental, vision * Supplemental insurance options (short/long-term disability, accidental, cancer, life) * Retirement plan with employer match * Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible * 5 CME days + $3,000 annual CME allowance * 24 days PTO * Malpractice insurance with tail coverage * SC AHEC Rural Incentive Grant up to $15,000 per year (for qualifying sites) ## Community Details * Located in Conway, South Carolina * Coastal lifestyle with access to beaches, boating, and golf * 218 sunny days per year * Cost of living approximately 9% below national average * Family-friendly neighborhoods and strong school options * Easy access to Charleston, Pawley’s Island, and other major regional cities * Growing population with high demand for primary care services
