Position Summary:
A full-time opportunity is available for a Board Eligible or Board Certified Med-Peds Physician in Jackson, TN. This role offers a balanced mix of pediatric and internal medicine responsibilities, flexible scheduling, and a clear path to partnership. The ideal candidate will join a collaborative, multispecialty environment focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive outpatient care for both pediatric and adult patients
• Participate in shared call coverage with pediatricians and internal medicine/family practice providers
• Pediatric call includes after-hours phone coverage, newborn nursery rounding, and supervision of nurse practitioners
• Internal medicine call includes after-hours phone coverage, including nursing home calls, with no ER or hospital admitting responsibilities
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers and specialists across multiple disciplines
• Engage in optional clinical research and resident teaching opportunities
• Document patient encounters using Allscripts Touchworks EHR
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics
• Eligible for medical licensure in Tennessee
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to clinical excellence and patient satisfaction
Working Hours
• Up to 6 weeks vacation
• 10 days of educational leave annually
• $3,000 annual educational allowance
