A mission-driven PACE program serving Baton Rouge and Lafayette, Louisiana is seeking a full-time, onsite Medical Director. Lead a team delivering compassionate, coordinated, person-centered care that helps older adults live safely and independently in their communities.
The Role:
• Medical leadership and supervision of participant care
• Oversight of clinical quality, safety and regulatory compliance
• Lead the QAPI program
• Mentor and guide primary care providers
• Shared on-call
Compensation & Benefits:
• $250,000–$290,000 plus incentive bonus up to 10% of base for clinical outcomes
• Benefits start day one: medical, dental, vision
• PTO and CME time
• Malpractice coverage; additional voluntary benefits
The Role:

Job Responsibilities
• Oversee quality, safety and compliance
• Lead QAPI
• Collaborate with hospitals, SNFs and community providers
• Mentor and coach clinical staff
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
• Support documentation/EMR optimization, pharmacy coordination and advance care planning
Qualifications
• Active Louisiana license
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (geriatrics preferred)
• 1+ year experience with frail or elderly populations
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
• BLS, CDS and DEA
• Valid driver's license, insurance and reliable transportation
