Dallas, Texas – Geriatric Medicine Physician
Start Date: ASAP Position: Full-Time Permanent Setting: 100% Outpatient / Clinic-Based Coverage: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Call: Approximately 1 week per year EMR: Epic
Position Overview
- Join an established geriatric patient population in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Position is available due to physician replacement.
- Seeking a physician with a strong foundation in outpatient geriatric medicine and primary care.
- One physician needed.
Schedule & Call
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
- Beeper/phone call coverage required.
- Call responsibilities are approximately one week per year.
- Assigned call week includes after-hours and weekend coverage.
Practice Setting
- Clinic-based practice.
- 100% outpatient.
- Associated hospital is a Level I Trauma Center.
Patient Population
- Primarily geriatric patients.
- Average daily patient volume: 16–18 patients.
- Management of chronic and complex conditions commonly seen in geriatric patients.
- Preventive care and chronic disease management.
- General outpatient geriatric evaluation and management.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required.
- Active Texas medical license required.
- Minimum 1 year of physician experience required.
- General outpatient geriatrics experience required.
- Active DEA.
- Local candidates preferred.
