Fulltime Medical Director – Geriatric Medicine – Fayetteville, NC

A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Medical Director (Geriatric Medicine) to lead a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive, community-based care to seniors while promoting independence and improving quality of life.

Position Details

• 📍 Location: Fayetteville, NC

• 💼 Position Type: Full-Time (Permanent Only)

• 🏥 Setting: PACE Program (Community-Based Care)

• 👨‍⚕️ Leadership Role: Reports to Executive Director

• 📞 Call: Participation in on-call rotation required
  
  

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical direction and oversight of participant care

• Conduct H&P, reassessments, and develop treatment plans

• Lead and oversee QAPI (Quality Assurance Performance Improvement)

• Supervise PCPs and APPs

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

• Participate in intake, assessment, and care planning

• Guide participants and families on care decisions

• Develop and maintain medical policies and protocols

💰 Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $250,000 – $290,000

• Day 1 benefits eligibility

✅ Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Active North Carolina License

• DEA & CDS Certification

• Prior supervisory experience required

• Minimum 1 year experience with geriatric/frail population

• Strong clinical and leadership skills

Preferred:

• Board Certification in Geriatrics

• Additional geriatrics experience
