Opportunity Highlights

• Full-time Medical Director and Clinical Intensivist position
• 32-bed medical/surgical ICU
• Flexible block scheduling with daytime shifts
• Advanced practice clinician (APC) support
• Approximately 18–20 daily patient encounters shared between the physician and APC
• ICU rounding, admissions, discharges, and ongoing patient management
• Night call to support the APC
• Provide clinical and operational leadership, including quality improvement, physician development, and team performance
• Collaborate with hospital administration on patient care initiatives and departmental goals

Qualifications

• Board certification in Internal Medicine required
• Prior ICU leadership experience required
• Experience managing critically ill patients
• Strong clinical, operational, and physician leadership skills
• Eligible for South Carolina medical licensure
