This is a 249-bed acute care community hospital that has been serving the residents of eastern Connecticut for more than 100 years. The facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services, advanced diagnostic imaging, emergency medicine, cardiovascular care, cancer services, orthopedic surgery, and critical care, all within a physician-led integrated health system with access to more than 500 locations across Connecticut.Opportunity:
Physician - Critical Care MedicineJob Details:
- Full-time Intensivist position providing comprehensive care in a 22-bed closed Intensive Care Unit
- Care for a diverse population of critically ill medical and surgical patients
- Work within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary care team including advanced practice providers, hospitalists, specialists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and dedicated critical care nurses
- 12-hour shifts with a balanced schedule
- Strong support from Advanced Practice Providers
- Productivity and quality incentives available
- CME allowance and dedicated professional development time
- Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
- Paid malpractice coverage with tail coverage included
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine required
- Eligibility for unrestricted Connecticut medical license required
- New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply
