Opportunity Overview
Adventist Health Bakersfield is seeking experienced Critical Care physicians for locum coverage across a 4-hospital regional ICU model, combining in-house coverage and Tele-ICU (tCC) support.
This is a high-acuity, procedure-heavy role ideal for ICU physicians comfortable managing open ICUs with limited ancillary support.

Bakersfield Main Campus: 10-hour in-house shifts + Tele-ICU

Delano & Specialty Bakersfield: 8 hours in-person + 16 hours Tele-ICU

Shift Structure

Day Shifts: Hours TBD (2 × 10-hour day shifts at Bakersfield)

Night Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Long stretch availability strongly preferred, especially for nights

• 10 ICU beds | 2 hrs in-person + Tele-ICU | Solo coverage -
Adventist Health Specialty Bakersfield
3001 Sillect Ave, Bakersfield, CA 93308
• 10 ICU beds | 6 hrs in-person + Tele-ICU | Solo coverage
Delano and Specialty Bakersfield are paired—expect some travel between these sites.

ICU Type: Open ICU (Hospitalist performs initial ICU H&P; ICU physician manages thereafter)

Requirements
