Looking for an Infectious Disease opportunity that fits around your existing practice rather than competing with it?
Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Infectious Disease Physician interested in providing flexible inpatient consult coverage through telemedicine. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who would like to supplement an existing practice, maintain clinical involvement while transitioning toward retirement, or add a small number of consults each month without committing to a traditional clinic schedule.
A Flexible Opportunity Built Around Your Schedule
Our primary need is inpatient Infectious Disease consultation provided remotely using Teladoc technology. The current consult volume is very manageable, with approximately 11 new consults and 11 follow-up visits per month based on recent volume.
Scheduling can be structured around your existing commitments, including the option for evening availability.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an Infectious Disease physician who values flexibility, collaboration and the ability to practice without adding a significant time commitment to an already busy schedule.
Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease and be eligible for medical licensure and credentialing in Missouri.

Job Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and provide Infectious Disease treatment recommendations to the hospitalist and nursing teams.
Provide follow-up consultations as clinically appropriate.
Collaborate with 24/7 hospitalist coverage and dedicated nursing staff to coordinate patient care.
Provide recommendations for patients who may require IV antibiotic therapy through the outpatient infusion center.
Document consultations and recommendations in Meditech Expanse.
Optional opportunity to provide outpatient Infectious Disease consultations via telemedicine
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease.
Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted Missouri medical license.
Eligible for medical staff credentialing and privileges.
Ability to provide high-quality patient care through a telemedicine environment.
