Location: North Richland Hills, TX area

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $250,000–$300,000 Base Salary + Performance Incentives

She Recruits is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a well-established healthcare organization seeking a Board Certified Infectious Disease Physician to serve as Medical Director for an outpatient practice in North Richland Hills, TX area

Position Highlights

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care for adult patients.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage infectious diseases, HIV, sexually transmitted infections, and a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
  • Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (NPs and PAs) as required.
  • Review laboratory results, diagnostic studies, and consultant recommendations.
  • Complete documentation accurately and within established timelines.
  • Coordinate patient care with nursing, care coordination, and administrative teams.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices.
  • Participate in physician leadership and operational planning.
  • Provide limited administrative oversight while maintaining an active clinical practice.

Qualifications

Required

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Board Certified in Infectious Disease
  • Active Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Active DEA registration
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Previous Infectious Disease clinical experience
  • Comfortable managing approximately 14–18 patients per day
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred

  • Previous Medical Director or physician leadership experience
  • Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers
  • Experience working in an outpatient clinical setting
  • Passion for serving diverse patient populations
