Infectious Disease Physician Opportunity – Denver Metropolitan Area
A well-established, physician-owned Infectious Disease practice serving the Denver metropolitan area is seeking a motivated Infectious Disease Physician to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking clinical autonomy, meaningful patient care, collaboration, and long-term career growth within an independent specialty practice.
The incoming physician will provide comprehensive infectious disease care across inpatient and outpatient settings while supporting patients receiving infusion therapy throughout the Denver metro region.
The practice offers exposure to a diverse range of infectious disease specialties, including HIV care, HIV PrEP, hepatitis treatment, outpatient infusion therapy, travel medicine, telemedicine, and opportunities to participate in antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Provide infectious disease consultations and ongoing patient management in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat complex infectious disease conditions.
Support outpatient antimicrobial therapy and infusion services.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, and clinical teams.
Participate in hospital rounding schedules.
Provide clinical guidance for infusion center care coordination.
Support quality improvement initiatives focused on patient outcomes and care delivery.
Additional Opportunities

Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease
Eligible for medical licensure in Colorado
Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based care
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with inpatient and outpatient infectious disease care
HIV medicine experience
Hepatitis C treatment experience
OPAT/outpatient infusion experience
Antimicrobial stewardship experience
Infection prevention experience
Leadership or program development experience
Working Hours
Schedule:
Monday – Friday clinical schedule
Hospital rounding responsibilities based on established schedules
